The lifetime of Robert Anderson Dunsire was to be all too brief. However, his very positive contributions were many and varied in a broad spectrum of activities in his personal life, his leisure activities, his working life in the pits of Fife and his Service to his Country and Community in World War 1.
Throughout, Robert insisted ‘It was my duty’ – a fitting epitaph for anyone.
This plaque is on bench that overlooks Robert’s Commemorative VC Paving Stone at Toll Park, Buckhaven, Fife – sited opposite the street of his birth.
